New Wonders in New Orleans

Hi, Campbell here. Yesterday was our first day in New Orleans.

Our day started off by us sleeping in. We got yelled at by mum because she wanted to go out to breakfast about an hour before we woke up. Shame on us.

We went out to breakfast at a buffet in the French Market. Everything was salted there. The bacon, the scrambled eggs, even the scones!

We then spent some time looking at different shops. We went to a chilli shop, where there were awesome sauces for chilli, sauces made by American drink companies and a wall of fame for eating a dip of the hottest chilli sauce in the universe. There was only one person on it. We also went to a toy shop which had some of the things we bought at F.A.O. Schwarz and a few more places.

We went to the Hard Rock for lunch (#10 on the Hard Rock list for us, only about 130 left!). We looked around a bit, and noticed that there was a stage for live performances, a few rooms where they were training new staff and lots of different items that had been used by famous musicians.

I forget what we had for dinner, so I'll go on to Chaz's Ghost Tour. Chaz wasn't feeling well, so we had one of the other people who worked for him, Prof. Alexander. While on the tour,we heard stories about the most deadly corner in the world, where people have been kidnapped, murdered on the spot and many other gruesome things that have happened on that very corner. We also passed a house that was home to a man who HATED the tours always stopping next to his house. The thing is, the house next door to his was in a vampire movie (interview with a  vampire). He yelled out at us and called us assholes and 'Walmart shoppers of the supernatural'. One person in our group was quite funny and asked Alexander, "Can I take a photo of the cranky guy and use it?" Obviuosly the answer was yes. Personally, I think the people who shop at Walmart have SWAG. Considering they walk in there looking like what they do in these pics, of course they are bad-asses.
