Bye bye Priettos!
Hi it's Flynn again. Two days ago was our last day with the Priettos so we decided to do the things we hadn't done. Firstly we went over to the Magic Kingdom to do some of the sorcerers of the magic kingdom quests. While Josh and I were doing some more, Campbell and grandpa went on philar magic and mum and noni went on it's a small world. Mum really wanted to go on the Peter Pan ride but Josh, Campbell and I wouldn't let her because she didn't want to go alone. We decided to go to Epcot to have some lunch. We walked around a bit and finally came to a little Moroccan restaurant that had food that I didn't really like. After we went on the few rides that Epcot has, we went back to the resort to rest for a while. We then went to Downtown Disney for dinner. The meals were very good and the drinks were yummy and weird. That's it for now and sorry for the late posts!

Disney with a random word of advice
Campbell again.
2 days ago was our second day in Disney. We have started getting back into our usual routines of sleeping (finally). We had breakfast at the hotel again and left for early hours at Magic Kingdom. We rode Space Mountain first, then while Josh, grandpa and Flynn rode Splash Mountain, I rode Big Thunder Mountain Railroad. Then when they finished their ride, they went on BTMR with me. Then after a few rides at Fantasyland, we decided to go get our first packs of cards for Sorcerers of the Magic Kingdom. It's a new game where you use cards to fight villains and do quests around the park. I can't really explain it that well, so here's a website for it: Disney card game
After we learnt about the card game, we went back to the hotel for a swim. Me and Flynn got in trouble for 'horseplaying' and it could have injured people around us, including us. The thing is, we were on the half of the pool where there were us and only about 3 other people...
That was really all that happened so... I leave you with one word of advice. If you stay at a Hard Rock Hotel, don't use the soaps. They STINK.

DisneyWorld, a kingdom with big ears.
Yes, I know you miss the amazing-ness that is Josh, and here I am. *bows*
After making sure all of our things were packed, we had a quick breakfast in the club level place thing thing majiggitywhatsit. Some donuts here, cereal there, poptarts over thataway, etc. We then grabbed our suitcases and headed off to the concierge to check out. After a while, we hopped in the car and were driven to DisneyWorld.
Strangely, as soon as we pulled up and dragged our suitcases out of the trunk, Noni and Grandpa pulled up behind us in a taxi. Once we checked in, we unpacked our things and settled down a bit. With a quick thought, we caught a bus to Hollywood Studios and set off.
Unfortunately for us, mum decided it was a good idea to go on the Movie Ride first, with a short wait. Woopdie doo. The Movie Ride in five words: GET ME OUT OF HERE
Escaping with our lives, we then revived ourselves with the Rock 'N' Rollercoaster with the 'Lamo Folks' and man, were they horrified (except for Campbell).
With our stomachs growling, we headed to 50's Prime Time for lunch. Normal lunch - food, drinks, switching plates so Josh can get the kids meal, etc. After finishing my hot dog and chips, our waitor-like-figure grabbed my empty plate, walked to the center of the room and exclaimed, "See kids? This is how a plate should look." and balanced it in between three fancy plates on the wall.
Long story short after that, we went on a few more rides, ended up in Epcot, did the phineas and ferb thingie, and had dinner at some random mexican take away. The end.

I can't think of a name yet
Hey it's Flynn again. Sorry I couldn't post this earlier. Campbell was only a qaurter through his post and he was just playing games instead of finishing his post. A couple of days ago was our second day in Universal Studios. We all woke up at about 8:00 so I thought we'd be able to go to sleep at the right time. We then went to Harry Potter World for some fun rides. Unfortunately, when we reached Harry Potter World we found out that only one ride was open until 12:00. The ride was called The Forbidden Journey. It was very well put together and I got touched on the foot by a dementor. I'm really sorry but from this point I forget what we did because it was a while ago. Bye!

Universal: Land of the Sickening Rides
Campbell here again. I was being lazy again so now Josh is annoying me to do this post. He has even built a fort around me with pillows and suitcases saying, "it would be impossible to get out of there.
A few days ago was our first day in Universal Studios. Like Mexico, we got there halfway through the day. We caught a car to the Hard Rock Hotel and when we arrived, sadly there were no free drinks. We were on floor 7 again, which meant we got free stuff again.
We went to the main park after we got used to the hotel room. The first thing we went on was the new Despicable Me ride. It was a 4D cinema show where we were turned into minions and had to go through a series of tests to see if we could survive as minions. Next up was the Rip-Ride Rockit for Flynn, Josh and dad. This time, Flynn could be seen by the camera so we watched the video with him being in it. Dad was looking at stuff around the park, Flynn was looking straight ahead and so was Josh.
We spent the rest of the day going on a few more rides, checking out some shops and avoiding characters that were giving out autographs and photos.
That's really all that happened that day.

Mexico - Home of the Sombrero
Josh again. Day three of Cancun, and I happily woke up late, meaning I missed breakfast. All I was given was a chocolate donut, to start off the day. We set off to the shops, only to be stopped by one of the staff and told the stores didn't open until 11.
So instead, we waited for a few hours playing shuffleboard and pool. We then, unfortunately, started to walk the 10 minutes to the closest one. This didn't go as well as mum planned, so we caught a bus the 1-2 stops.
There wasn't much there, except bobbing toitles (turtles) and 'Dinosaur Butterfly Toitles'. We then caught another bus to the furthest store, for lunch at the Hard Rock. After a quick lunch, there they were. . . .

SOMBREROS!!!
After swiftly purchasing a red one of these, and a personalised bracelet thing reading 'SWAG'.
The important thing was defiantly the sombrero though.

The Tour
Hey it's Flynn again! Yesterday was probably the best day so far in the holiday. In the morning mum and dad woke us up at 6:00 to go down and have a day tour with a man named Jerry. He made a few jokes while we were on the looooong car ride to Cenote Park Maya, which is really cool. After we walked along the limestone path we had to go through a ritual performed by a shaman. He had something in a cup that I couldn't see (because I was too short) and said some Myan words that I couldn't understand. Then we went into the cool bit. After we put on a harness and gloves we went down underground into a big course sort of thing with water everywhere. The first thing I did was a zipline (that was really fun) . When I let go of the zipline and fell in the water I felt a catfish sucking my arm and it felt nice but weird. The next thing I did was a sort of zipline but there was a seat and you sat on it and it would swing on a long rope. The final thing I did there was a sort of rope bridge thing. There was a thin rope above you and one below you and you had to try and walk along it. Josh and I cheated a bit and held on to the bottom with our hands and swam to the end still holding the bottom rope. After we had lunch and a bit of dessert, we drove to Ek Balam, a Mayan city. There we had to climb up a really tall temple to see where the king lived. I got mum to look up how many steps there were and it turns out there were 108 of them! When we had finished trying to take pictures of iguanas and birds we went in the van and drove back to the Hotel.
Viva Mexico
Campbell here. Sorry for the late post, I was being lazy and playing games instead of writing my post.
Anyway, a few days ago was our first day in Mexico. We spent half of the day going on planes to get to Cancun though (groan). When we finally got here though, it was a 20 minute drive to the Hard Rock Hotel. When we arrived, we received free drinks that we didn't know what they were and if they were alcoholic (if they were, I had 3 glasses of alcohol:D) . We spent the rest of the afternoon exploring the hotel. There were some cool things, like a shuffleboard game (not the type that old people use in movies, one where you have pucks and you try to aim for certain scores), a theatre where different shows are performed every now and then and a jacuzzi in our bedroom! (hell yeah). We also had room service for dinner, which was nuggets and chips. That's really all that happened that day, so... ¡BACON MAN AWAY!

In the beginning of the day, there was nothing - I still don't know where this came from.
Josh again. Last day of N'Orlins, with nothing planned for the day. It was a slow start, leaving at 9:30 after having a quick breakfast of cereal. We went to the markets, where they sold crocodile on a stick. Of course I needed one of these!
I stood around with dad for about 10-15 minutes, waiting for the crocodile to be served, while the rest of them searched through the rest of the market. After talking to the chef, the crocodile on a stick came out immediately. >.>
It was a huge hunt, looking for a 'Pirate Yoga' t-shirt everywhere after that. Looking into every shop, but to no avail. Flynn wasn't as happy as he could have been, but he settled for a 'Where the weird things are - New Orleans' shirt instead.
We had a lunch booked at 12:15 at NOLA, a fancy restaurant. As of yesterday, it had become a competition of who could collect the most refills, leaving a tally on our hands. Luckily for him, dad had two drinks from the start, while we got a second at the end. Dad's end tally was 13, mine was 8, and Campbell's was too low to even mention.
Unfortunately, we then had to go on a 3 hour tour (thanks mum). I can't say what the tour was about, or what he was saying at all, because I wasn't listening/sleeping. I think everyone but mum slept, actually.
After that bore-fest, we had a quick swim back at the hotel, and went back to the Hard Rock Cafe for dessert. We were full enough from the huge lunch. Most of us had the peanut butter pie, which wasn't a pie at all. It was more like a super sweet peanut butter ice cream, in a glass.
We were supposed to go to bed early, for the 6am limo to the airport. . .1am is an early rest, right? Right?

Day 2 in New Orleans
Hello! It's Flynn here. I'm sorry about the late posts because of the timezones but we are trying to keep them daily. Anyway, yesterday the day started with Josh, Campbell and I getting in trouble for locking our room at night. Mum and Dad were knocking at our door for an hour and we finally woke up at 8:02. We decided to have breakfast at IHOP (international house of pancakes). We then went on a street car to go to Magazine St, a 12 kilometre street and had a nice lime refresher. After the drink we walked along to come across a bookshop. We went in to find some extra books for the flights coming up. As usual my brothers and I were complaining about walking so far around New Orleans. After a long walk back to the street car and a trip back I asked if we could go into a gaming shop called GameStop and we could. I was so happy to find Lego lord of the rings on wii for $20 but I was very disappointed when I found out that it only worked on American wii consoles :-( We finally gave up for walking and went to an Italian restaurant for dinner. It was very funny because the man that refilled everyone's water came to our table more than 20 times. I think I'll stop typing now because the iPad I'm writing on is 5% charge. More from Josh soon if possible. Just so you know the order of posts is Josh then Campbell then me.

New Wonders in New Orleans
Hi, Campbell here. Yesterday was our first day in New Orleans.
Our day started off by us sleeping in. We got yelled at by mum because she wanted to go out to breakfast about an hour before we woke up. Shame on us.
We went out to breakfast at a buffet in the French Market. Everything was salted there. The bacon, the scrambled eggs, even the scones!
We then spent some time looking at different shops. We went to a chilli shop, where there were awesome sauces for chilli, sauces made by American drink companies and a wall of fame for eating a dip of the hottest chilli sauce in the universe. There was only one person on it. We also went to a toy shop which had some of the things we bought at F.A.O. Schwarz and a few more places.
We went to the Hard Rock for lunch (#10 on the Hard Rock list for us, only about 130 left!). We looked around a bit, and noticed that there was a stage for live performances, a few rooms where they were training new staff and lots of different items that had been used by famous musicians.
I forget what we had for dinner, so I'll go on to Chaz's Ghost Tour. Chaz wasn't feeling well, so we had one of the other people who worked for him, Prof. Alexander. While on the tour,we heard stories about the most deadly corner in the world, where people have been kidnapped, murdered on the spot and many other gruesome things that have happened on that very corner. We also passed a house that was home to a man who HATED the tours always stopping next to his house. The thing is, the house next door to his was in a vampire movie (interview with a vampire). He yelled out at us and called us assholes and 'Walmart shoppers of the supernatural'. One person in our group was quite funny and asked Alexander, "Can I take a photo of the cranky guy and use it?" Obviuosly the answer was yes. Personally, I think the people who shop at Walmart have SWAG. Considering they walk in there looking like what they do in these pics, of course they are bad-asses.

On the first day of holidays...
Hi. My name is Josh. Sorry for the inconvenience of no blog posts, but it took us a while to stop being the lazy people we truly are.
The plane from Sydney to San Francisco was the same as all flights.
Blah blah blah flying blah blah blah movies blah blah blah 'scruffy guy' and 'hat guy' as neighbours blah blah blah minimal sleep etc. etc. etc.

The flight was delayed upon entering the plane, due to paperwork, by half an hour. More fun for us.
After getting through security and collecting our bags, we were driven to Krista's house for lunch. We ventured to the dollar tree, where the Starrets met holes in their pockets. I, for one, bought a red party hat, a pink and green Hawaiian lei, a pink cup, and a matching pink clapper hand. (only $4.00 + tax)
Unfortunately, it was already time to go. We said our goodbyes, and were faced with yet another plane flight to New Orleans.
